Frank Goins
January 30, 1943 - April 17, 2025
Our family and community lost a pillar Thursday evening. Mr. Frank Goins, has gone to be with the Lord. Frank was a kind and loving husband, brother, dad, and papaw. Frank was born on January 30, 1943 in Manchester, Kentucky to Daugh Goins and Lillie Minton Goins. Frank and his wife, Bertha Sizemore Goins were married on September 15, 1967 and raised their family in Clay County, Kentucky off of East 80. They were married 54 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Daugh Goins and Lillie Minton Goins. He was also preceded in death by his three siblings: Vernon Goins, Bill Goins, Manilee Smallwood, and his great-grandchildren: Parker Goins and Byron Hollin.
Frank is survived by his four siblings, Gladys Marcum and husband Gary, Delia Coleman, Sandra Kay Hubbard and husband Ernie, and Lucy Pearl Jordan and husband Orville.
He is also survived by his children: Stilaphene Edwards and husband, Marcus of London, KY; Bulah Chadwell and husband Randell of London, KY; McCoy Smith and wife Mona of Manchester, KY; Kenny Goins of Manchester, KY; Debbie Hubbard of London, KY; Bobby Goins and wife Nikki of Manchester, KY; and Lillie Marie Wagers and husband Roger of Lily, KY.
Frank also leaves behind his grandchildren, Felicia Norman, Noah Shelby, Kevin Chadwell, Teresa Hamilton, Rusty Smith, Candice Smith, Otis Goins, Joseph Goins, Darren Hubbard, Heather Lawson, Michelle Bowman, Jennifer Asher, Bertha Ann Isgrigg, Brittany Goins, Anthony Wagers, Jonathan Smith, Josh Smith, Andrew Wagers, and Kyson Goins.
Frank Goins is also survived by his great-grandchildren: Alyssa Hall, Tristen Hall, Layla Norman, Maeve Shelby, Riley Chadwell, Kaden Chadwell, Gavin Chadwell, Brody Hamilton, Marissa Hamilton, Mariah Hamilton, Madelyn Smith, Emma Smith, Scarlet Smith, Hunter Smith, Connor Goins, Trace Goins, Matthew Hubbard, Makenna Hubbard, River Hubbard, Kian Lawson, Rylan Jones, Greyson Asher, Sadie Bowman, Zoey Bowman, Paris Cormier, Ryder Asher, Koven Asher, Brennen Isgrigg, Serenity Grace Isgrigg, Ariel Gibson, Olivia Sturdivant, Brantley Wagers, Jacob Wagers, Taylor Smith, Sophia Smith, Levi Smith, Link Smith, Isabella Smith, Trenton Hollin, Addilyn Grace Goins, Coraline Smith, Case Wagers, and Mia Wagers.
He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. Frank has gone home to be with the Lord and be reunited with the love of his life and all of his loved ones that were awaiting his arrival there. He will live in the hearts and minds of not only his family, but all of those he has cared for and prayed for over the years. We will all miss you and the love and joy you brought to us all.
The funeral service for Frank Goins will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Scott Gains officiating. Burial will follow in Minton Cemetery on Brock Lane in Manchester, Kentucky.
The family of Frank Goins will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday until the service hour of 1:00 p.m.
