Daisy Jackson Loughran of Lockards Creek was born on August 6th, 1935 in Clay County to the union of the late Sarah & Deckon Jackson and passed away November 24th, 2013 at Baptist Regional Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Loughran, and her sister, Opal Riehemann.
She leaves behind her children, Carol Loughran of London, KY, Kathy Loughran of Manchester, KY, and Bill Loughran of Loveland, OH. Her grandchildren, Kari Mullins and husband Shawn of Pike County, Josh Loughran and Becky Trame of Dublin, OH, Kadin Harmon and Ryan Eversole of Manchester, KY, and her great grandchildren Ian and Liam Mullins of Pike County.
The loss of Daisy, Nanny to those who knew her, will also be felt strongly by Kim Brown, James Woods, Damon Hounchell, Josh Hubbard, and Kris Loughran, who she considered her children as well.
These siblings are left to mourn her passing: David Jackson & wife Francis of Independence, KY, Harold Jackson of Richmond, KY, Louise Baker & husband Ron of Richmond, KY, Betty Lynch & husband Jim of Lafollette, TN, Margaret Samples of Berea, KY, Brenda Woods & husband Ted of Manchester, KY, and Anna Jackson who was her sister by choice.
She will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She was a lifelong servant of Christ and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. A celebration of her life will be held at Britton Funeral home in Manchester, KY on November 30th, 2013 with visitation starting at 12:00PM and funeral service following at 2:00PM.
She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Memorial Gardens.
