Dewey Lawson, 82, of Manchester, was born March 23rd, 1930, and passed away Monday, December 16, 2013, at the St. Joseph London Hospital.
He is survived by his children, David Lawson, J.C. Lawson, Dewey Michael Lawson, Margret Hoskins, and husband, Melvin, all of Big Creek, Minnie Weaver, and husband, Charles Dobber, of Manchester.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Wavie Lawson, his parents, Ruck and Jane Lawson, and his children, Danny Lawson, Hershal Lawson, Timothy Wayne Lawson, and Francis Ellen Frazier.
He also leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his death.
Funeral services for Dewey Lawson will be held 12 Noon Wednesday at the Big Creek Holiness Church with J.D. Hensley and Billy Ledford officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawson and Hensley Cemetery at Fish Trap. Visitation will be after 5 PM Tuesday at the church.
