Ruby Marcum 87, of Germantown, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014, at Sycamore Hospital in Miamisurg, Ohio.
She was born in Clay County, Kentucky on December 12, 1926, to the late Sam and Sophia Gregory.
Ruby is survived by her daughter, Janice Pennington and husband Wayne of Germantown, Ohio; 2 grandsons, James Russell Marcum of London, Kentucky, and Arkus Wayne Pennington and wife Missy of Miamisburg; 1 granddaughter, Mandy Pennington of Mason, Ohio; 5 great-grandsons, Jacob Ryan and Ethan Hunter Marcum of Manchester, Aiden Wayne, Arrik Walker, and Asher Waide Pennington of Miamisburg,Ohio. She also leaves behind, her snow white kitty, Lilly.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband James Willard Marcum; son Jimmy Darrell Marcum: granddaughter Sherry Lynn Marcum; brothers Carl and Johnie Gregory, and sister Thelma Packman.
Funeral services for Ruby Marcum will be held 11AM Friday at the Britton Funeral Home chapel with BJ McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in the Marcum Cemetery on Ephraim. Visitation will be after 6PM Thursday at the Britton Funeral Home
