Clark C. Jackson, 86, of Brightshade, was born May 5th, 1927, and passed away Saturday March 15th, 2014 at the Laurel Creek Health Care Center.
He is survived by his wife Cleo Jackson of Brightshade and these children, Hobert Jackson, Carl H. Jackson and wife Joann, Gary Jackson, Pauline Gray and husband Clifford, Kathleen Jackson and husband Ben, Shirlene Jackson, all of Brightshade, Calvin Jackson and wife Patricia Ann of Manchester, Deborah Dalrymple and husband Daniel of Ft. Meyers, FL, along with 22 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
He is also survived by one brother, Leon Jackson and wife Sara Lee of London, and one sister Tressie Jackson of Gooserock.
He is preceded in death by his these children, Maxlee Jackson, Elvis Jackson, and Larry Jackson, three great grandchildren, Logan Lewis, Destiny Jackson, and Zachary Michael Jackson, two brothers, AC Jackson and Link Jackson, and his parents Dill and Flora Jackson.
He also leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his death.
Funeral services for Clark C. Jackson will be 1PM Wednesday at the Indian Grave Branch Baptist Church with Kenneth Jones and Reggie Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at the Abe Jackson Cemetery at Brightshade. Visitation will be after 6PM Tuesday at the Britton Funeral Home.
