Mr. Roy Sizemore, age 71 of London formerly of Clay County, departed this life on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.
He was born on Tuesday, November 10, 1942 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of James Madison and Francis Hollin Sizemore. He was a real estate appraiser and a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He was united in marriage on Saturday, August 24, 1968 to his wife: Doris Duff Sizemore, whom he leaves to mourn his passing. Also surviving are his children: Georgia Smith and her husband Eric, Sabrina Mills and her husband Roy, Jr., his grandchildren: Jessica Messer, Brittany Mills, and Conner Smith. These brothers & sisters survive: Ben Sizemore and his wife Judy, Rex Sizemore and his wife Charlotte, Harold Sizemore and his wife Kitty, Lonnie Sizemore and his wife Lisa, Stanley Sizemore and his wife Mallie, Dean Sizemore and his wife Sharon, Minnie Lou Roberts and her husband Jack, and Ruby Pearl Parker, 3 nephews: James Sizemore and his wife Tracy, James Parker and his wife Betty Sharon, and Benjamin Sizemore and his wife Kate, and his niece: Ashley Sizemore.
He is preceded in death by his parents: James Madison and Francis Sizemore and his brothers: Herman Sizemore and Ray Sizemore.
Funeral Services for Mr. Roy Sizemore will be conducted on Thursday, at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dwayne Smith will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Collins Cemetery in the Liberty Hills Community.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
