Mrs. Eloise Hibbard, age 87 departed this life on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at her home.
She was born Sunday, January 16, 1927 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Chester and Sophia Hounchell Bowling. She was a homemaker and worked for the Clay County Board of Education with the food program, and was a member of the Pleasant Run Baptist Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing her son: Jerry Hibbard and his wife Carolyn, her daughters: Sophia Carol Hibbard and her late husband Loren, and Cecilia Katherine “Kathy” Smith and her husband Donnie, 5 grandchildren: Robby Hibbard, Billy Hibbard, Jennifer Vaughn, Nicholas Hibbard and Cecil Smith, 6 great grandchildren: Jacob Vaughn, Jenna Eloise Vaughn, Jack Vaughn, Jeremy Hibbard, Jake Hibbard, and Jayce Hibbard, and her sister: Joyce Davidson.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Chester and Sophia Bowling, her husband: Cecil Hibbard, and 5 brothers: Manual Bowling, Jennings Bowling, Marion Bowling, Martin Bowling and Henry Bowling.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Eloise Hibbard will be conducted on Thursday, October 16 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ken Bolin will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Hacker Cemetery in the Sidell Community.
Visitation will be held on Thursday after 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
