Mae Smith, 86, of Manchester passed away Thursday December 4th, 2014 at her home.
She was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son Blaine Smith, Lockards Creek, and two daughters Donna K. Swafford and husband Mike, Bush, and Sandy Harmon and husband Lester, Paces Creek.
She is also survived by the following grandchildren: Shannon Todd Finley, Kandi Bowling, Rita Krysti Taylor, Kyle Blaine Smith, Joshua Brandon Swafford, and Rachyl Lynn Harmon, as well as 10 great grandchildren and two special caregivers Ann Brock and Ruby Burns.
She is preceded in death by her husband Calvin C. Smith, her parents Hugh and Lettie Smith, her Daughter Shirlene Finley, and these brothers: Clarence Mills, Dave Smith, Taylor D. Smith, and R.J. Smith.
The funeral service will be held 2 PM Sunday at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Boo Smith and Marty Nolan officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery at Lockards Creek.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Saturday at the Britton Funeral Home.
