Mr. Monroe Sizemore, age 75 of Manchester, passed away at his home on Tuesday February 3, 2015.
He was born on September 3, 1939 to the union of James Curly and Ruby Allen Sizemore. He was a retired coal miner.
He is survived by his wife Mary Lou Sizemore and the following children; Emily Sizemore Taylor and her husband Tim of London and Ashley Nicole Lewis of Horse Creek.
He is also survived by two brothers Lonzo Sizemore and his wife Jennifer of Manchester, Oscar Sizemore and his wife Carol of Jamestown, Ky. and three sisters; Mary Ann Roberts of Lexington, Ky, Sherry Sue Sizemore of London and Jean Rich of Indianapolis, Indiana. Four grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family also survive.
Mr. Sizemore is preceded in death by his parents James Curly and Ruby Allen Sizemore, his brother Arnold Sizemore and his sister Barbara Jo Macina.
Funeral services for Monroe Sizemore will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 2 PM at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Roberts and Rev. James Wagers officiating. Burial will follow in the Herd Cemetery in the Horse Creek Community.
Visitation will be held on Friday at 11 AM at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel.
