Mrs. Lucy Collins Smith, age 101 of Manchester, departed this life on Friday, February 20, 2015 at her home.
She was born on Thursday, March 6, 1913 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the union of Eli and Elizabeth Woods Collins. She was a homemaker.
She leaves to mourn her passing her children: Ellie Smith, Betty Jean Dobbs, Doshia Smith, June Wombles, Mary Mills, Velva Kay Henson, Clifford Smith, Demoree Smith, and James Lee Smith, her brother: Leonard Collins, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren
She is preceded in death by her parents: Eli and Elizabeth Woods Collins and these children: Dewey Smith, Paul Smith, Susie Rice, Donnie Smith, Andy Smith, Hamp Smith, Cleden Smith and her grandson: Bobby Ray Smith.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Lucy Collins Smith will be conducted on Tuesday, February 24, at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tess Lipps will be officiating. Burial will follow in the White Cemetery in the Goose Rock Community.
Visitation will be held on Monday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
