Oscar Sizemore, 75 of Garrard passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 at his home.
He was born July 20, 1939 to the union of Jim and Lena Swafford Sizemore. He worked as a truck driver, hauling steel and coal.
Oscar is survived by his children; Ronnie Sizemore, Connie Herd and husband Lloyd Jr. and Diane Wagers and husband David, all of Chop Bottom and one sister; Allie Parker Stewart of Tyner.
He is also survived by six grandchildren; Alesia Kristi Welch, Veronica Joyce House, Christopher Brian Smallwood, Trinidy Bryan Herd, Courtney Nicole Herd, Zackary Nathanial Wagers and four great grandchildren; Annabelle Taylor Welch, Caroline Tate Welch, Manning Clay Welch and Carter Wayne House.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Lena Swafford Sizemore.
Funeral services for Oscar Sizemore will be held on Friday, March 6th at 2 PM at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Wayne House officiating. Burial will follow in the Oscar Sizemore Cemetery at Garrard.
Visitation will be held on Thursday evening after 6 PM at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel.
