Mrs. Cassie Mae Gray, 73 of Goose Rock passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at her home.
She was born on October 17, 1941 in Oneida, Kentucky to the union of Arthur and Amanda Mills Smith.She was a homemaker.
Cassie is survived by her daughters; Patricia Harrod and husband Jonathan of Mckee, Kentucky, Sharon Bard and husband Sam of Scottsville, Kentucky and the following brothers and sisters; Marvin Smith, Jr. Smith, Taft Smith, Denny Smith and Mikie Smith all of Manchester, Stinson Smith of London, Beulah Gray of Goose Rock and Diane Henson of Laurel County.
Also surviving are six grandchildren; Lachrista Brook, Marcus Summers, Eric Allen, Sarah Bard, Aaron Bard, Ashley Bard and five great grandchildren; Makayla, Hannah, Kelsey, Lindsay and Greysen.
She is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Amanda Mills Smith, her husband Charles Edward Gray and her daughter Debbie Allen.
Funeral services for Cassie Mae Gray will be held on Thursday, March 12, at 2 PM at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Henson, Rev Sill Lee and Rev. Eldon Browning officiating. Burial will follow in the Gray and Smith Cemetery at Gooserock.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening after 6 PM at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel.
