Daniel Powers Ponder, 97, of Manchester passed away Friday May 15th, 2015 at the Laurel Creek Health Care Center.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a World War II Veteran.
He is survived by his wife Beulah Ponder, Manchester, and the following children: George Ponder and wife Deborah, Salem, IN, Donnie Sandlin, Garrard, KY, Aliene Wilson, Westchester, OH, Lois Stewart, Milford, OH, Joyce Smith, Westchester, OH, Janet Smith, Garrard, KY, and Pauline LeFevers, Blanchester, OH.
He is also survived by 2 grandchildren Erin Humphrey and Daniel Ponder, 12 step grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Imogene Ponder, his parents George L. and Lucy Ponder, and these brothers and sisters: Hazel Burns, Evelynn Moore, Clara Combs, Bill Ponder, Mary Allie Craig, Hubert Ponder, and George L. Ponder.
The funeral service will be held 1 PM Tuesday at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Darrell Bargo officiating. Burial will follow in the Squire Hensley Cemetery at Oneida.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Monday at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel.
