Stella M. Ferguson Barker, if you didn't know her it wouldn't stay that way long. The 87 year old formerly of Cincinnati, OH, and recently a resident of Homosassa, Fl believed in hugging first and getting to know you later.
She passed away Thursday June 25th, 2015 in Lecanto, FL with her family at her bedside. Stella loved family, roses, animals, ice cream, and honey buns. Her favorite place in the world was down home in Manchester, KY.
She is survived by her children: Patty Cox and husband Cecil, Homosassa, FL, Linda Fazioli and husband Frank, Ft. Myers, FL, Peggy Clouse and husband Dennie, Homosassa, FL, Sonny James Barker and wife Kim, Melbourne FL, and Tammy Thornhill and husband Bill, Ft. Myers, FL.
She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She was the beloved sister to Roy Ferguson and wife Gladys and an aunt to several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held 2 PM Friday July 3rd, 2015 at the Britton Funeral Home, Manchester KY with Rev. Carlo Davidson officiating. Burial following at the Mount Olivet Cemetery.
