Mrs. Carolyn P. Simpson, 63, departed this life on Thursday, July 23, 2015 in Louisville.
She was born on Sunday, March 9, 1952 in Manchester, KY to the late John “Frog” and Armentress “Ment” Word Pennington. Carol use to work in social work as a counselor and she attended Canaan Christian Church.
Along with her parents, her brother, Rollie Burnett Pennington; and sisters, Brenda Anderson and Phyllis Kay Gilbert have preceded her in death.
Here to carry on her beautiful memory are her husband, David Simpson; children, Anissa Pennington Calhoun (Chauncey) and John Wood; grandchildren, Aaliyah Calhoun, CJ Calhoun, Raejon Pennington, Jhona Wood, Shayla Simpson and Kenneth Simpson; her brothers, Sean Pennington and Phillip Ray Pennington; along with a host of other family and friends who will miss her very much.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Carolyn P. Simpson will be conducted on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 2 PM the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 12 PM until funeral hour at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
