Vernon Asher, 65, of Manchester, passed away Sunday September 6th, 2015.
He is survived by his wife Margie Johnson Asher, his mother Mable Asher, and the following children: Shane Asher, Pekin, IN, Matthew Asher and wife Rachel, Indianapolis, IN, Michael Asher and wife Lauren, Louisville, KY, Veronica Asher, Salem, IN, Leah Walz and husband Kai, Louisville, KY, and Brooklyn Asher.He is also survived by the following brothers and sister: Dewayne Asher, Manchester, Ray Asher, Manchester, Roger Asher, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Gary Asher, Manchester, and Judy Hacker, Manchester and Brook Lynn Page of Parkers Lake, Ky.Also surviving are two stepsons, Josh and Joe Johnson, and his step daughter Nattasha Snellings of Salem, In. of as well as 7 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father Wiley Asher and one brother Kenneth Asher.
The funeral service will be held 12 Noon Wednesday September 9th, 2015 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Asher Cemetery at Redbird. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at the Britton Funeral Home.
