Mr. William Lowell Howard, age 71 of Smilax, Kentucky formerly of Clay County departed this life on Monday, September 28, 2015 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.
He was born on Sunday, February 27, 1944 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of William and Ruby Hammons Howard. He was a truck driver, owned a trucking company and was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He leaves to mourn his passing his children: Kevin D. Howard, Keith D. Howard, John E. Howard, Billie Jean Howard, Carla Collett, and Janice Howard. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Pauline Durbin, Sharon Howard Crovetto, David Howard, Janice Sewell, Linda Holt, Joel Howard, Gary Howard, and Deborah (Debi) Howard.
He is preceded in death by his parents: William and Ruby Howard.
A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. William Hugh Hudson will be officiating.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17 after 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
