Alta Gray, 86 of Manchester passed away Sunday, October 4th at her home.
Alta is survived by her children; Jimmy Hubbard, Carolyn Jones, Kathy Smith and husband Donnie, Princess Collins and husband Lawrence all of Manchester and her sister Nicie Hoskins also of Manchester.
Twenty two grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren also survive.
She is preceded in death by these children; Billy Ray Eversole, Harvey Eversole, Fred Eversole and Clara Edith Allen; these brothers and sisters, Venus Gray, Bertha Slusher and Perline Eversole.
Funeral services for Alta Gray will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, October 7th 2015 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Ted Eversole officiating. Burial will follow in the Paces Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at the Britton Funeral Home.
