"JR" Gray born as Herbert Gray Jr., 70, of Manchester passed away Friday October 9th, 2015 at the Continue Care Hospital in Corbin.
He was a United States Air Force Veteran and a member of the Leslie County D.A.V..
He is survived by his wife Loyce Gray, and the following children: Steve Langdon and wife Leslie, Manchester, Sonny Gray, Greenville, South Carolina, Teresa Smith and husband Patrick, Manchester, and Sendy Howard and husband Tim, Greer South Carolina.
He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Rick Cable and wife Kathy, Michigan, Arkus Gray and wife Janice, Manchester, Keith Gray and wife Debra, Manchester, Dennis Gray, Goose Rock, Nadine Smith and husband RJ, Goose Rock, Charlene Gross and husband Bill, Eaton, OH, Beulah Kennedy and husband Dough, London, KY, Alma Gray, Goose Rock, and Ernestine Melton and husband Danny, London, KY.
He also leaves behind these grandchildren: Matt Langdon and wife Megan, Zach Langdon, Gage Couch, Kayla Smith, Dalen Couch, Miranda Felder and husband Justin, Justin Howard, Madison Howard, Jackson Howard, Dawson Gray, Chann Gray, Ty Gray, Gweneth Smith, and Trish Smith.
He is preceded in death by his parents Hub and Nina Gray and Doris Abner Cable.
The funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Dean Lawson and Jonathan Coots officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Sunday at the Britton Funeral Home.
