Mr. Ford Hoskins, age 87 departed this life on Monday, October 12, 2015 at his home.
He was born on Monday, May 14, 1928 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Melvin and Maxeline Burns Hoskins. He was owner and operator of Hoskins Florist, a member of the Island Creek Missionary Baptist Church, and a veteran of Korea where he served in the United States Army.
He leaves to mourn his passing his son: Dean Hoskins and his wife Denise, his granddaughters: Jessica Hoskins Jones and her husband Shannon and Amy Brooke Hoskins. Also surviving are his great grandchildren: Charles Andrew Jones, Logan Cash Jones, Gracelynn Presley Jones, Summer Paige Jones, Hayden Trace Hoskins, and Johnna Makenlee Hacker and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Melvin and Maxeline Hoskins, his wife: Shirley, and these brothers: Cloyd Hoskins, Dillard Hoskins, and Estill Hoskins.
Funeral Services for Mr. Ford Hoskins will be conducted on Friday, October 16, at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. George Grigsby and Rev. Joey Burns will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be on Thursday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
