Mr. Bobby Gene Bowling, age 56 of Gray Hawk departed this life on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was born on Friday, February 13, 1959 in Clay County, Kentucky. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Debra Murrell Bowling, his children: David and his wife Natasha, Joey and his wife Holly, Derrick, Clifford, Jessie and his wife Angel, Baby Girl Nicole, Bobby Lee and his wife Kendra, Chris, and Jamie. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Hailey, Hunter, Harleigh Rose, Jayden, Briley, Madison, Alexis, and Christian, these brothers and sisters:” Nancy Bowling, Bige Hunter and his wife Lois, Brenda Gross and her husband Roscoe, Robert Hunter and his wife Sherry, Shawna Berry and her husband Nick, Barbara Smith and her husband Shirley Joe, Sandy Carpenter and her husband Carl, Wayne Bowling and his wife Shan. Also surviving is his second mother: Bonnie Bowling, his second daddy: Clifford Smith, his aunts: Kathleen Smith, Beulah Donough, and Lucy Deaton and his uncles: Kermit and James Sams.
He is preceded in death by his mother: Dora Smith, his father: Stanley Bowling, and his brother: Richard Hunter.
Funeral Services for Mr. Bobby Gene Bowling will be conducted on Saturday, November 7 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mitchell Baker, Rev. Shirley Joe Smith, Rev. Brian Gabbard, and Rev. Freddy Byrd will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Reynolds Cemetery in the Tyner Community.
Visitation will be Friday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home.
