Mrs. Ester (Jackson) Dezarn, age 76 of Manchester, passed away Friday, December 25, 2015 at her home. Ester was born March 30, 1939 to the union of Perry and Opal (Mills) Jackson.
Ester was a lifelong member of the Lyttleton Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and had made a career in babysitting. "She loved and cherished all her babies!"
Ester is survived by her daughter, Ms. Sue Johnson and significant other, Mr. Terry Eldred. She is also survived by her granddaughter whom she and Herman raised as their own child, Mrs. Jennifer Dezarn-Bray and husband David.
Also surviving is her daughter in law, Evelyn (Parker) Dezarn.
She is survived by these grandchildren: Mrs. Kimberly Thompson and husband Craig, Mr. Timothy Bryan Dezarn and wife Cecile, and Mr. Parker Thomas Dezarn and significant other, Ms. Blair Smith.
The following great grandchildren also survive: Mr. Joshua Joseph Riley, Mason Colby Matthew Bray, Khyrien Haleigh Denise Bray, Cayden Bryan Dezarn and 1 unborn great grandson.
She is also survived by these brothers and sisters: Edward Jackson, Harold "Frosty" Jackson, Arlie Jackson and wife Ann, Marvin Jackson and wife Donna, Toleman "Jackie" Jackson and wife Eudeana, Paul "Bubba" Jackson and wife Pat, Albert Jackson and wife, Danielle, Loyd Jackson and wife Debra, Walter "Fuzz" Jackson and wife Pat, Carl Jackson, Margaret "Sissy" Smith and husband Ted, Rita Fairchild and husband Kevin, Brenda Bugg and husband Bill, and Cecil Jackson.
Ester is preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Opal (Mills) Jackson, her husband Herman Dezarn, her son Tim Dezarn, her brothers Tileman and Dallas Jackson, her sister Estella Osborne, her father and mother in law Festus Sr and Grace (Goins) Dezarn, her brother in law Denzil Dezarn, her step-mother Rosa Jackson and her son in law, Joey Riley.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Ester (Jackson) Dezarn will be held on Tuesday, December 29,2015 at 2:00 PM at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. John Boley and Rev. Casey Carver will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Beech Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be held after 6:00 PM on Monday, December 28, 2015 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel.
