Mr. Robert Arnett, age 80 of Oneida, departed this life on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at his home.
He was born on Friday, September 6, 1935 in Oneida to the union of Roosevelt and Bertha Combs Arnett. He was retired from General Motors Corporation in Dayton, Ohio, a member of the West Carrollton First Baptist Church in Dayton, a veteran of the United States Air Force and fire chief and board member at the Oneida Fire Department.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Margaret A. Burns Arnett of Oneida, his children: Jan Krouh, Jeannie Rish, Jill Kirkendall, Robert Arnett, Jr., and Amy Arnett all of Dayton, Ohio, 3 step-children: Timothy Baker of Manchester, Kenny Baker of Oneida, and Jeff Baker of London. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and these brothers and sisters: Clayton Arnett of Oneida, Carl Arnett of Oneida, Fred Arnett of Oneida, and Roosevelt Arnett, Jr. of Ohio, and a host of other friends and loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Roosevelt and Bertha Arnett, his step-daughter: Rebecca Lemons, his brother: Dempsy Arnett, and his sister: Jeanette Arnett.
Funeral Services for Mr. Robert Arnett will be conducted on Tuesday, December 29 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Phyllis Baker Thomas will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Martin Cemetery in the Bullskin Community.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday after 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
