Mr. Asher Henson, 62, of Rices Fork passed away Saturday, December 26th 2015 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Big Creek Holiness Church.
Mr Henson is survived by his wife Rhonda Carol Henson of Rices Fork, his son Stacey Henson of London, his daughter Jennifer Henson of Jackson County and these stepchildren; Anthony Brown of Bullskin, James Abner and wife Brittany of Saul and Elisha Abner of Saul.
He is also survived by these brothers and sisters; Thomas Henson, Charlie Henson and Cornella Smith all of Big Creek, Bernice Lakes of Greenwood, Indiana, Ellen Smith of Red Bird and Oma Smith of Dayton, Ohio. Also surviving are these grandchildren; Nicholas Asher Henson, Alexandra Elisha Henson, Kaiden Henson, Liam Henson, Parker Abner and Jaya Abner.
Mr Henson is preceded in death by his parents Estill and Bertha Gray Henson and these brothers and sisters; Delbert Henson, Sammy Henson, Carl Henson, Junior Henson and Gracie Collins.
Funeral services for Mr. Henson will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, December 30 2015 at the Big Creek Holiness Church with Rev. Sill Lee and Rev. Steve May officiating. Burial will follow in the Collins-France Cemetery on Elk Creek.Visitation will be held at 6 PM Tuesday at the Big Creek Holiness Church.
