Mrs. Audrey Abner, age 82 of Manchester departed this life on Friday, January 8, 2016 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Wednesday, December 13, 1933 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Chester and Rosie Barger Davidson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Paran Baptist Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing her children: Rebecca Rice and her husband Darrell of Buckhorn, Jimmy Abner and his wife Joann of Manchester, and Billy Abner and his wife Geneva of Annville. Also surviving are 5 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 5 step grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Chester and Rosie Davidson, her husband G. W. Abner, her brother Ivan Davidson, and her daughter Rosie Abner.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Audrey Abner will be conducted on Tuesday, January 12 at 11 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jessie Martin and Rev. Robert Rice will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in the Bullskin Community.
Visitation will be held on Monday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
