Jimmy Clay Britton, age 71, husband of Bernice Britton of London, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Saint Joseph London.
He was the father of Diana Collier of Springfield, Tennessee, Joann Gessner and husband Mark of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Cynthia Newland and husband Erin of LaGrange, Kentucky, Belinda Trail and husband Jim of Louisville, Kentucky, Shawn Britton of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, D.C. Turner and wife April of Manchester, Kentucky, and Johnny Turner and wife Laura of London, Kentucky. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, Jacob Gessner, Brittany Gessner, Joshua Turner, Latisha Coles, Myra Collier, Amber Collier, Alexander Combs, Jonathan Turner, Malachi Newland, Nehemiah Newland, Elisha Newland, Rebecca Trail, Emily Trail, and Brianna Trail, and host of loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Britton and Audrey Burns Britton Pajor, and by one sister, Eulah Mae Britton.
Funeral Services for Jimmy Clay Britton will be conducted 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 19, 2015 in the London Funeral Home Chapel with Roger Bruner officiating. Burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery.
The family of Jimmy Clay Britton will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, January 18, 2016.
