Mr. Charles Ray Marcum, age 65 departed this life on Monday, January 25, 2016 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was born on Thursday, July 27, 1950 in Oneida, Kentucky to the union of Charlie and Retha Smith Marcum. He was a truck driver and a member of the Hughes Hill Holiness Church.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Bonnie Bays Marcum, his children: Barbara Marcum of Manchester, William “Bill” Marcum and his wife Tracey of Manchester, Tammy Sue Smith and husband Brandon of Manchester, Jeffrey Wayne Marcum and his wife Clara of Manchester, and Jonathan Charles Marcum and wife Tina of Manchester. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and his father: Charlie Marcum of Manchester.
He is preceded in death by his mother: Retha Marcum, and his grandparents: Celia and Rueben Marcum.
Funeral Services for Mr. Charles Ray Marcum will be conducted on Thursday, January 28, at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tom Elliot, Rev. John Whitehead, Rev. Lester Carpenter, and Rev. Brian Carpenter will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
