Mrs. Verda Ann Smith age 58 passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the Ephrin McDowell Hospital, Danville, Ky., surrounded by loving family. She was a retired employee of the First National Bank, Manchester and a member of the Manchester Baptist Church.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband Glenn Smith, her son Nathan Glenn Smith and her daughter Heather Gwen Smith both of Ells Branch. She is also survived by her mother Thelma Jean Smith of Lockards Creek, her grandmother Annie Gibson of Manchester, brothers Anthony Smith, Thousand Sticks,Ky. Phillip Keith Smith, Patrick Smith and Blaine Smith IV all of Manchester and her sister Phyliss Morgan also of Manchester. Five grandchildren survive, Tanner Colson Revis, Trinty Revis, Noah Gabriel Revis, Kinsey Smith and Natalie Smith. she was preceded in death by her father Blaine Smith, Jr.
Funeral service for Verda Ann smith will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel, with Larry Smith, Scotty Sumner and John "Boo" Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation for Verda Ann Smith will be 11 AM Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the Britton funeral Home Chapel.
