Ms. Gracie Dean Arnett Marcum , age 91 of Elk Creek passed away Monday February 8, 2016 at her home. She was a member of the Big Creek Holiness Church.
Ms. Marcum is survived by her children, Roy Marcum of Bristol, TN, Herman Marcum and wife Sophie, Shirley Bush and husband Freddy, Brenda Turner and husband Darrell, Ricky Marcum and wife Martha Sue all of Elk Creek, Bobby Marcum and wife Glinda of Island Creek and Donnie Marcum and wife Karen of East Bernstadt.
She also leaves her grandchildren Robbin Johnson, Roy Marcum Jr. Tammy Lawson, Robert Marcum, Randy Marcum, Holly Lewis, Sherry Whitaker, Carey Bowling, Michelle Jones, Melody Collins, John Turner, Shauna Steele, Amanda Bowling and 22 great grandchildren. . A special friend and long time care giver Frieda Lawson also survives.
Ms. Marcum was preceded in death by her husband Alfred "Al" Marcum, her parents Andy and Rachel Arnett, 5 brothers, 5 sisters and 4 grandchildren.
Funeral services for Ms. Gracie Marcum will be held Friday 1:00 PM at the Big Creek Holiness Church with Sill Lee, Jerry Holland, Jerry Mckinley Holland, Everett Potter, Billy Ledford and Bobby Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in the Al Marcum Cemetery at Elk Creek.
Visitation will be 6:00 PM Thursday February 11th. at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel.
