Mr. Delmar Chester “Littlin” Edwards, age 79 of Sexton Creek, Kentucky departed this life on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at his home.
He was born on Saturday, December 12, 1936 in Sexton Creek to Chester and Rose Morgan Edwards. He was a farmer, a member of the Clarks Chapel Baptist Church, and a member of Robert Clark Masonic Lodge #646 where he was a member for over 50 years and a member of Martha Clark Eastern Star #201.
He was united in marriage to Maggie on March 11, 1961 and to this union the following children were born: Landon “Bub” Edwards and his wife Brenda of Manchester, Linda House and her husband Jay of Manchester, and Carol Cain of Manchester. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren: Jonathon Rawlings, Jarrard Rawlings, Michael Landon Edwards and Ashley, Billy Kyle McQueen, Chelsey House, and Maggie Shawnee Jean Frazier and 2 great grandchildren: Madison Brook Rawlings and Jonathon Tyler Rawlings.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Chester and Rose Edwards, his wife: Maggie, who passed away on July 2, 1993, his son: Ronnie Edwards, his daughter: Janet Frazier who passed away on June 25, 2013, and his twin brother: Delbert Arthur “Biggin” Edwards.
Funeral Services for Mr. Delmar Chester “Littlin” Edwards will be conducted on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 3 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Wayne House and Rev. Tim Ball will be officiating. A Masonic Service will be held on Sunday at 2 PM. Burial will be in the Pennington Cemetery in the Little Sexton Community.
Visitation will be held on Sunday after 11:00 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
