Mrs. Mary Marie Reid, age 88 of Robinson Creek departed this life on Wednesday, March 2, 2016.
She was born on Thursday, May 19, 1927 in Adela, Kentucky to the union of William and Sarah Sandlin Thompson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist church.
She leaves to mourn her passing her daughters: Lois Reid Cottongim and her husband Lester, Jr. of Dunmor, Kentucky, and Geraldine Reid Phillips of Manchester. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Toni Cottongim Kluck and Robert, Tracy Cottongim Courtney and Stacey, Brian Cottongim, Brandi Bray and Tim, Kristi Grubb and Anthony, Jordan Foster, and David Phillips. 14 great grandchildren survived as well as her sister: Irene Hunter and her brother: Glenn Thompson.
She is preceded in death by her parents: William and Sarah Thompson, her husband: Gilbert Reid, and several brothers.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Marie Reid will be conducted on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Charlie Goodman will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery in the Burning Springs Community.
Visitation will be on Friday after 11 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
