Ms. Susan Roark, 92, of Beverly passed away Tuesday, March 1st, 2016 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. She was a member of the Jacks Creek United Methodist Church.
Ms. Roark is survived by her daughters, Yvonne Gray and husband Henderson of Spring Creek, Elaine Asher and husband Mitchell of London and Elmalene Waterson and Husband Sam of Keavy. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; Rodney Gray, Ronnie Gray, Ginger Sue Gray, Michael Asher, Michelle Asher, Randle Thomas Asher, Ashley Asher, Shawna Hurst, Shane Hurst and Dylan Roark. Twenty great grandchildren and nine great-great grendchildren also survive.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Rella Hubbard Estep, her husband Elman E. Roark, her son Elman Roark Jr, one grandchild Regan Roark and these brothers and sisters; Helen Stewart, Georgia Gilbert and Oscar Estep.
Funeral services for Ms. Susan Roark will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 5th, 2016 at the Jacks Creek United Methodist Church with Chuck Jack officiating. Burial will follow in the Roark Cemetery at Roark, KY.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM Friday at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel.
