Alphia Bowling, 77, of Manchester was born August 23rd, 1938 to the union of Jeff and Sara Elvia Sizemore, she went to be with the lord March 2nd, 2016.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jeff and Sara Elvia Sizemore, her father and mother in law Hiram and Mary Bowling, a newborn son, Gary Wayne Bowling, a newborn daughter, Martha Michele Bowling, and her oldest brother Otto Sizemore.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Frank Bowling, whom she Married July 23rd, 1970, and these children: Garnett Bowling, Arnett Bowling and companion Melinda Weaver, and Donna Sue Bowling and Companion Jeremiah McCowan. She is also survived by one grandson Travis Grubb and one granddaughter Whitley Grubb.
She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Eliza and husband Hiram Gilbert, London, KY, Delphia and husband Charlie Hubbard, Manchester, Kathleen Bowling, Manchester, Loretta and Husband Ted Eversole, London, KY, Nora Mathis, London, KY, Clarence and wife Jeanette Sizemore, Hamilton, OH, Richmond and wife Bonnie Sizemore, Manchester, KY, Amos and wife Rosa Sizemore, Manchester, KY, Andy and wife Debra Sizemore, Manchester, KY, Lonzo and wife Deenie Sizemore, Manchester, KY, Oscar Sizemore, Manchester, KY, Monroe Sizemore, Martinsville, IN, and Lonnie and wife Ruby Sizemore, Manchester, KY.
She also leaves a host of many friends and loved ones to mourn her passing. She has been a servant of God in the Pentecostal Holiness Faith her entire life, her devotion to God has been a living testimony of a true born again christian.
Funeral Services for Alpha Bowling will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel, with Don Hubbard, Charlie Hubbard and Ted Eversole officiating. Burial will be in the Smith-Sizemore Cemetery at Hector.
Visitation will be after 6:00 Pm Friday, March 4, 2016 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel.
