Mr. Jacob K. Woods, age 67 of Manchester departed this life on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was born on Monday, May 24, 1948 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Robert “Briar” and Leah Sandlin Woods.
He leaves to mourn his passing his daughters: Jessica Adams, Amy Burke, and Sarah Lewis, his step-daughter: Shana Napier, his step-son: Todd Sizemore and these grandchildren: Kamella Coleman, Kyle Adams, Clyde Mills, Shannon Burke, Ashley Burke, Emma Burke, Sophia Barrett, Dusty Lewis, and Savannah Grace Napier. Also surviving is his great grandchild: Memphis Coleman and his brothers: Ford Woods and David Woods.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Robert “Briar” and Leah Woods, his son: Stephen Woods, 2 brothers: Jack Woods and John Woods, and 2 sisters: Brenda Woods and Frankie Woods.
Funeral Services for Mr. Jake Woods will be conducted on Monday, March 28, at 10 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ronnie Brown will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Woods Cemetery in the Lovers Leap Community.
Visitation will be Sunday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
