Marietta Bishop age 81 passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital.
Ms. Bishop is survived by her children as follows: Cal Jr. bishop and wife Anna Lee, Thomas Bishop, wife Shirley, Linda Sue Jarvis, Debra Mae Revis, Ricky "Big Rick" Bishop and Jimmy Darrell Bishop, wife Stella. Ten grand children survive as follows: Mary Ann Napier, Calvin bishop, Chad Bishop, Candace Gregory, Don Gilbert Jarvis, Ryan Revis, Brandi Revis, Cynthia Goins, Jammie Gregory and Mylinda Runion. Seventeen great-grand children survive as follows: Kaitlynn Napier, Donovan Bishop, Caleigh Bishop, Ashleigh Bishop, Carter Bishop, Megan Gregory, Conner Gregory, Keara Jarvis, Kingston Jarvis, Nicholas Revis, Colby Revis, John Ohe, Emma Ohe, Aylassa Leann Sams, Bailey Gregory, Aden Runion and Paul Ryder Runion. Also surviving is her brother Tom Marcum of Florida.
She was preceded in death by daughter Donna Gail Goins, and her sister Edith New, her husband, Calvin Bishop, her parents Alex and Arie Clark Marcum.
Funeral service for Marietta Bishop will be at 6:00 PM Friday, May 6, 2016 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Jackson, Jonathan Marcum and Brian Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in the Marcum Cemetery on Marcum Hill.
Visitation for Marietta Bishop will be after 6:00 PM Friday, May 6, 2016 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel.
