Mr. Charley Rickett, age 76 of Manchester departed this life on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky.
He was born on Friday, November 17, 1939 in Corbin, Kentucky. He was a truck driver and affiliated with the New Beginnings Church.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Rachel Lucinda Harris Rickett, his children: Debbie Rickett Smith and her husband Henry, Renata Rickett Davis and her husband Glenn, Tyler Rickett and his fiancé Ashley Jones, and Candace Rickett Smith and her husband Dylan. Also surviving are the following grandchildren: Cody Wayne Smith, Keith Smith, Clayton Davis, Mackenzie Davis, Charlie Walker Rickett, and Lilah Rose Smith, and these great grandchildren: Briannah Smith, Kelsey Smith, Kaleb Davis and Kayden Davis and these brothers and sisters: Otis Wayne Roark, Barbara Treadway, Rita West and her husband Robert, Gilbert Day and Mary Ann, and Frankie Day and his wife Kathy, and 32 nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother: Francis Day and his step father: Arthur Day.
Funeral Services for Mr. Charley Rickett will be conducted on Saturday at 1 PM at the New Beginnings Church. Rev. Bobby Stevens and Rev. Chris Fields will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Hutchins Cemetery in the Harris Hollow Road Community.
Visitation will be held on Saturday after 11 AM at the New Beginnings Church.
