Bertha Roberts age 95, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at the home of her daughter, Sherry House. She was born on September 20, 1920 at Lothair, KY to the union of John and Minnie Oaks Bowling.
Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Roberts and her daughter Elva Faye Westerfield. Additionally she was preceded in death by the following siblings: Robert, Ewing, Arvil, David, Jim and Ray Bowling and Audrey Collins, Elly Ambrose, Annalee bush and Ann Ambrose.
Bertha was a former employee of the Frontier Nursing Service and a member of the Liberty United Baptist Church at Laurel Creek.
Bertha is survived by her daughter, Sherry Roberts House and son in law, Maurice and grandson Patrick House.
Funeral services for Bertha Roberts will be held at 2 PM Saturday, July 9th, 2016 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel. with Chris Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Farmer Roberts Cemetery at Bear Branch.
Visitation for Bertha Roberts will be at 12 Noon Saturday, July 9th, 2016 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel.
