Mr. James (Jim) Thomas Price age 85 passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the VA Hospital, Lexington, KY.
He is survived by his wife Ruby and the following daughters: Annie C. Pluntz, husband Kenny of Indianapolis, Ind; and Sheila Smith, husband Derrick K. of Tuscon, AZ. He is also survived by his sisters, Julia Adams, Vero Beach, Fla; and Helen Price Harris Plank, Trenton, Ohio. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Mechelle Meadows, Andrew Wilson, Emily Cays, Whitney Creech, and Jarrod Smith. Four great grandchildren survive: Dexter Creech, Oliver Cays, Eleanor Creech and Bennett Meadows.
Mr.Price was preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas and Irene Kathryn Williams Price and his sisters, Alice Price and Ruth Caudill and half brother, John Price.
Funeral services for James Thomas Price will be held at 2 PM Sunday, August 14, 2016 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Ray Cowan officiating. Burial will follow in the Price Cemetery, in Manchester.
Visitation will be at 12 Noon Sunday, August 14,2016 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel.
