Levi McQueen was born March 24, 1932 in Clay County and departed this life Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, being 84 years of age. He was son of the late Taylor & Martha (Dunn) McQueen.
Levi is survived by two children, David Chapman of Florence, KY and Lisa McQueen of McKee. He is also survived by the following siblings, A.J. (Lenora) McQueen and Danny Glenn (Paula) McQueen all of Norwood, OH, Oscar McQueen of McKee, KY, Stevie (Joyce) McQueen and Georgetta Robinson all of Johnsonville, KY, Rosetta Edwards of Tyner, KY and Gail (Willis) Davidson of Burning Springs, KY and by his best friend, Jake Isaacs. Levi was blessed with four grandchildren, Danielle McQueen, Amanda Chapman, Stacey Chapman & Amanda Jo Ewald; seven great grandchildren, Paris Carnes, Landon Carnes, Audrina Granozio, Mason Ewald, Jackson Ewald, Collin David Chapman & Charlotte Kimball and by a host of nieces and nephews.
Levi was a retired truck driver of the City of Norwood and was a member of the New Beginnings Community Church. He was also a Mason, Shriners and of the Scottish Rights.
Funeral service 1:00 PM Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the New Beginnings Community Church with Bro. Bobby Stevens, Bro. Hunter Isaacs, and Bro. Willis Davidson officiating. Burial followed in the Dunn Cemetery. Pallbearers were Steve McQueen, Billy Neeley, Jake Isaacs, Darren Davidson, Mike Metcalf, Jonathan McQueen, Oscar McQueen II and Justin McQueen. Honorary pallbearers were Hunter Isaacs, Ethan Isaacs and Seth Isaacs.
