Ms. Tressie Jackson, 83, of Goose Rock passed away Sunday, September 25th, 2016 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was a member of the Indian Grave Branch Baptist Church and member of the Red Bird Mission Senior Citizens Group.
Ms. Jackson is survived by three sons; Paul Jackson and wife Jennifer, Arlie Jackson all of Goose Rock and Clyde Jackson and wife Patty of London, two daughters;Sharon Jean Henson and husband Bobby of London and Josephine Polling of Mill Creek and one brother Leon Jackson of London. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and lots of special friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Dill and Flora Jones Jackson and three brothers, A.C. Jackson, Clark Jackson and Link Jackson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Kenneth Jones and Reggie Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart Cemetery at Bright Shade.
Visitation will be held at 6 PM Tuesday at the Britton Funeral Home.
