He was affiliated with the Church of Christ. Jimmy enjoyed 4-wheeling, working on vehicles and spending time with family and friends.

She was the daughter of the late Kelly Hensley and the late America Barger Hensley. She worked as a nurse aid for Hyden Health and Rehab until she became disabled. Kathy enjoyed fishing, spending time with her family and being outdoors.
