WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) announced on Monday, December 20, 2021 that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will distribute more than $115 million in pandemic relief funding to 897 Kentucky healthcare providers through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). These funds will be distributed as Phase 4 of the Provider Relief Fund, which was established through the bipartisan Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

LONDON, KY - The Laurel County Sheriff's Office Is reporting that Sheriff John Root along with Detective Robert Reed, Maj. Chuck Johnson, Capt. Robbie Grimes, Lieut. Chris Edwards, and Deputy Hunter Disney arrested Brandon Gray age 39 of O Johnson Road, approximately 4 miles west of London while deputies were investigating the theft of a soda pop machine and other items that had occurred at a business off West Laurel Road 1 mile west of London, KY. The incident was reported to the Sheriff's office on Thursday, December 16, 2021.
MAYFIELD, KY - The Graves County Sheriff's Office reported on Saturday, December 18, 2021 that on Friday afternoon, Graves Sheriff’s deputies were alerted to suspicious activity in the area of Cardinal and Pritchett Road. This area was particularly hit hard by the tornado and resulted in deaths.
