Indiana Man Arrested for Meth Trafficking during Suspicious Vehicle Investigation in a Motel Parking Lot in Laurel County, Kentucky

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Justin Taylor along with Deputy Landry Collett arrested Danny K. Saylor age 56 of Fort Wayne, Indiana early Tuesday morning March 16, 2021 at approximately 1:15 AM.

The arrest occurred in a motel parking lot in southern Laurel County while deputies were investigating a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot there – a black Chrysler 200 series.

During the investigation deputies located:

  • Suspected Methamphetamine
  • A glass smoking pipe with white residue
  • Several pills
  • A large amount of US currency
  • Two pistols

The arrested individual is identified as:

Danny K. Saylor charged with:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a controlled substance – third-degree
  • Possession of Drug paraphernalia
  • Prescription Controlled substances not in proper container – first offense

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
