LEXINGTON, KY – The Department of Justice announced Thursday that it has awarded more than $17.5 million in grants to support the Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) Program. Funding will support efforts across the country to address violent crime, including the gun violence that is often at its core. 

MANCHESTER, KY - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at approximately 10:11 PM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Jared Smith arrested Austin Smith, 21 of Paw Paw Road.

BARBOURVILLE, KY - The Knox County, Sheriff's Department is reporting that on Thursday afternoon December 9, 2021, at approximately 1:00 P.M., Knox County Sgt. Carl Frith received a call from an individual in Gray, KY stating that a small boy was in their yard, alone, naked, and covered with feces.

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Robert Reed arrested George Grider age 25 of London on Monday afternoon December 6, 2021 at approximately 2:50 PM.

HAZARD, KY -  On Friday, December 3, 2021, Troopers with Kentucky State Police, Post 13, Hazard, responded to Perry County Central High School in regards to an assault complaint that occurred during a girls’ high school basketball game.  An arrest warrant for Brent Lynch was issued by Perry County District Court on December 7, 2021.
