Western Kentucky City Payroll Clerk Indicted on 15 Felony Charges, AG Coleman Announces

FRANKFORT, KY (April 16, 2025) – Attorney General Russell Coleman announced today that action from the Attorney General's Special Prosecutions Unit resulted in the indictment of a Western Kentucky city payroll clerk on 15 felony charges related to her employment.

Ohio Man Sentenced for Trafficking Fentanyl Resulting in Overdose Death

ASHLAND, KY – A Columbus, Ohio, man, Angelo Dre Clifton, 31, was sentenced on Monday, by Chief U.S. District Judge David Bunning, to 25 years in prison, for the distribution of fentanyl resulting in an overdose death.

Darknet Vendor Sentenced for Conspiracy to Sell Counterfeit Drugs

LONDON, KY – A Lebanese and Italian national, Alessandro Sabbagh, 27, was sentenced on Friday by U.S. District Judge Robert Wier to 78 months in prison, for conspiracy to sell counterfeit drugs and knowingly causing the sale of a counterfeit drug.
