Initiative aims to mobilize and empower organizations throughout the Commonwealth to help address vaccine hesitancy and increase vaccinations

LEXINGTON, KY (Dec. 20, 2021) –Kentucky Association of Health Plans (KAHP), the trade association representing all carriers offering health coverage in Kentucky, today announced 27 grant award winners for the organization’s “Healthy Together Through Vaccinations” community grant program. The initiative aims to increase COVID-19 vaccine acceptance and access by empowering organizations across KY with grants of up to $25,000 to pursue efforts toward improving vaccination rates through outreach, communication, education, training, transportation, and/or support.

CLATSOP COUNTY, OR (December 19, 2021) - Oregon State Police is reporting that on Saturday, December 18th, 2021 at about 6:11 PM, OSP Troopers and emergency personnel responded to the report of a bicyclist hit by a vehicle on Highway 101 near milepost 25. 

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Dustin Saylor along with Deputy Travis Napier arrested Cayla Joy Watson age 34 of Corbin on Wednesday afternoon December 15, 2021 at approximately 4:28 PM.

LEXINGTON, KY— A Lexington man, Robert W. Bledsoe was sentenced to 322 months in federal prison on Friday, by Chief U.S. District Judge Danny C. Reeves.

LA GRANDE, OR - The Oregon State Police is reporting that on Thursday, December 16, 2021, Detectives from the Oregon State Police Drug Enforcement Section as well as Troopers and other area law enforcement executed a search warrant at a La Grande area storefront named Highway 30 Cannabis in Union County, OR which is located at 1709 Adams Ave. in La Grande.
