MANCHESTER, KY (July 12, 2021) - On Thursday, July 8, 2021, the Clay County Fiscal Court met concerning the desire of the Clay County School Board “CCBOE” to relocate the historical Hoskins Cemetery in the Island Creek community of Clay County, Kentucky. A focal point of the crowded meeting with standing room only was numerous family members’ emotional pleas for the Clay County Fiscal Court to save the Hoskins Cemetery.

COVINGTON, KY – A Dry Ridge, Kentucky, man, Paul Stapleton, 48, was sentenced Friday to 264 months in federal prison, by U.S. District Judge David Bunning, for conspiring to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine and possession of a short-barreled shotgun in furtherance of his drug trafficking.
