Two vehicle injury traffic crash on east Ky. 80 in Laurel County

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Senior Deputy Brandon Broughton is investigating a two vehicle injury traffic crash which occurred on Ky. 80 ( E. Laurel Rd.) at the intersection with Payne Trail approximately 2 miles east of London on Wednesday morning November 30, 2016 at approximately 7:44 AM.

The investigating deputy reports that apparently a gold colored Pontiac car pulled out from Payne Trail in front of the path of a a white colored Chevrolet Trailblazer that was westbound on Ky. 80. The Pontiac collided with the Trailblazer.

The driver of the gold colored Pontiac was identified as: Veramarie Hale age 32 Of Blackwater Rd., London – had to be extricated by London Laurel rescue squad and was transported by Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County to St. Joseph Hospital London for treatment of possible injuries.

The driver of the white Chevrolet Trailblazer was identified as: Daniel Clark age 32 Of Cloyd Ln., London – transported by Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County to St. Joseph Hospital London for treatment of possible injuries.

Assisting at the scene was: Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County, London Laurel Rescue Squad, Laurel County Volunteer Fire Department, and Brad Smith with Laurel County Department of Public Safety.
