Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Shawn Jackson arrested Jeffery Hubbs age 34 of Ridner Branch Road, Cannon, Kentucky early Sunday morning December 11, 2016 at approximately 6:15 AM.
The arrest occurred on I– 75, approximately 4 miles south of London after Deputy Jackson was dispatched to a complaint that a vehicle was in the median on I-75 at mile marker 34.
When Deputy Jackson arrived at the scene he located this subject in a vehicle that was running that was in the median against the concrete separation barrier. This subject was passed out and Deputy Jackson detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from this subject.
Deputy Jackson was finally able to get this subject out of the vehicle and conducted an investigation determining that this subject was under the influence. This subject stated he had been drinking beer all night long at a friend's house and was on his way home.
This subject could not tell Deputy Jackson where he was or what direction he was traveling.
This subject was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
