Clay deputies on patrol witness assault of female teenager

Clay County, Ky. - The Clay County Sheriff's Office is reporting that: On July 12, 2019 at approximately 9:30 AM Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson, Clay County CSO Supervisor Dewey Grubb and Clay County CSO Travis Bush arrested Robert Wooton, 51 of Wooton Drive and Christina Guinn, 19 of Paintsville.

The arrest occurred when Deputies Grubb and Bush observed a male subject exit the passenger side of a vehicle and went to the driver side vehicle and grabbed the female driver by the hair and push her down.

During search of incident Sheriff Robinson and Deputy Grubb located a large quantity of Methamphetamine on the person of the male individual.

Through confirmation with Clay County Dispatch it showed the female driver also had an active bench warrant for her arrest. 

Robert Wooton, 51 was charged with:

• Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine)
• Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess
• Assault 4th Degree

Christina Guinn, 19 was charged with:

• Serving Bench Warrant for Court
